Round 1
I'm really happy to see our newer archers sticking with us and continuing to shoot. I hope that this league serves as a motivating tool and not something that discourages. The shooters here shooting good scores do so, more than likely, because they have taken the time and put forth the effort to practice. That is what this league is about.
Having said that.....diamonarchergirl and soldiermom.....I'm still gonna find an "X" and stand if front of it if you should ever decide to shoot at me with a bow and arrow.......

Round 2
Now I don't know what is going on there in the home of SandSquid and Mrs. Squid, but they should write a book about sibling love. Our two young sisters are obviously shooting identical scores so that neither beats the other. What selflessness! I bet those girls get along perfectly 24 hours a day and are a dream to live with. Tell us Squids....how do you do it????

Ouch that arrow missed to paper and hit me in the Bu##! Made it to round 4 this week.
Shot my first 3d round yesterday, cold here in northern okla but didn't loose or break and arrow and actually hit 28 of 30 target bodies. Considered it a good learning experience. Next month I'll move back past 5 yards - ha!

Actually they let me shoot from where I was comfortable. I was walking around with a guy shooting traditional so I shot from his spot or a little back from there. I was happy.

Lets send one to the pine......come on down Ron......at least you whipped the firechic.....
Nice shootin again this week Hawkins.......28s just don't fly this far in......
Come on over.......the food and drink are delicious and feel free to throw your chicken bones and ice at the remaining shooters......

Now.....we are down to the shooters that don'e miss the X very much....
We now have our final 10. Great shooting to you 10 and good luck......

Yeah, but you need to deduct 1 point per end for an appropriate handicap...
Heck, I shoot my rounds at 20 yards outside in the yard....

Round 13
No dice this week again because I have the memory of a piece of pine bark mulch....so back the random number generator (or Randy as I've dubbed him) for our random numbers this week.
Randy's first number is 7.
Not a good end to start on.......SEVEN shoot off arrows to sit one more shooter. 4 Xs in round one has sent UltraElite to the pine in round 13. Strange how these things work out sometimes.

Ron
Then would that be
+1 for 5 - 10 mph winds
+2 for 10 - 30 mph winds
+5 when shooting a 0 to +30 degrees
+ 10 for shooting in 0 to -30 degrees
Then a match for score for anything below -30
Good old Illinois outdoor handicap chart

Nothing in the rules says you can't Ron......Won't be much fun though when I'm trying to do a smack down with 12 perfect scores........
Would everyone feel better if I put an asterisk next to him name????

Round 14
Randy's next number is a 4.
Round 4 finds JDX and Mr. Bowtech in a shoot off. One arrow settles it and Mr. Bowtech is off to discover the wonderful world of sharp wood meets soft skin......
