A factory installed sts would have been alot easier and alot more effective..JMO.

Actually I think then they would have to completely change the current Reezen riser which one would think would be much more expensive than a new brass dampner

As long it fixes vibration issues that some have had, it's a good thing. It also shows that they continue to listen to customer/dealer feedback to make a better product.

I have put an STS and other variations on the Reezen and it doesn't change the "Hmmmmm"

I believe the "Hmmmm" people are feeling in this model is from the riser, not the string...hence the heavier damper.

How do you have your sts positioned?...lightly touching or a few hairs away from it?

It's kinda weird hearing all this about silencing the reezen. Mine barely makes a sound. Quietest bow I've ever owned.

I tried the STS on the Reezen and it still did not get rid of the aftershot buzz from what I am told,I have not seen it so it is a rumor, but the person told me the new Harminic Stabilizer as they call it completely got rid of the buzz.

We tried setting it up both ways and still had the same result. I am looking forward to checking out the new weight to see how that works.

How do I protect my bow from contracting this?

I've set up several of the 6.5 and with a 450 grain plus arrow I feel no vibration at all and hear no hummm... perhaps the bow is simply telling y'all something..

I won't have to worry, by the time my Reezen gets to me it will have the new Harmonic Stabilizer installed already. The one I shot wasn't bad at all, and this will make it even better.

I physically looked at one setup on Reezin 6.5 looked nice, the owner of the bow which I trust very much told me to go shoot it and see for yourself, Iím a lefty and this was a right hander so I will take his word for it.

First off he did not think the Reezin was that bad to start with but yet there was a noticeable change in quieting the bow and how it felt, that some noticed
Some of us think that those who notice any amount of hand shock whatever that is, may be caused from holding a tighter grip with the bow hand versus a relaxed bow hand.

Default That pic is my bow , and the damper works

But the bow wasn't bad without it .. I love the reezen it shoots flat and is fast. I love the long riser the riser is the same lenght as the DLD it is a tack diver.. I think the new damper looks sweet. It will fit in any mathews bow that has a damper I don't know what it would do but it will fit..

I have sold several MeanV Maximum Suppressors for the new Reezen, and all Feedback so far has been very positive.

I even have them in the New lost Camo!
