Very nice bow I love mine. I use it for indoor spots. Not very fast but very accurate.

He said it.........Great shooting bow. Smooth easy draw and a tack driver. Gotta have a long Drawlength if you are gonna shoot if for 3d because it isn't as fast as many of todays bows. Wish I had one for indoor though

I love mine and would NEVER get rid of it- I shoot a 29in draw with 60 lbs and I get 260 or so out of it. I shoot it for 3d- Spots- and hunting. I just work hard on my yardage estimation for 3D.

Thumbs up Ovation

Just a little slow by todays 2 cam bows but draws a whole lot smooooother.
Mine does 253 at 6 grains per pound and a 28" draw.
Perfect spot and dot bow and a very good 3D bow.
Puts the shooter back into the sport of 3D instead of using speed as a crutch.
I like mine so much I am selling my Switchback LD and bought another one to use indoors and keep the origional for outdoors.

I've had one for about 2 years and I love it. I use it for indoor and when I want to head outside and just shoot in the range in the. Like those guys said, it's not a particuarly fast bow by todays standards but it has a very smooth draw cycle and holds on a target like a rock. I bought mine used in great shape and I'll probably have it until it basically becomes worthless from use.

I plan to use it for 3D and hunting. I am just looking at getting back to a more traditional looking/ feeling compound without going back to far in time. I figure this would be a great compromise of yesterday and today.

As far as speed is concerned I am shooting a 310 IBO bow anyway so it doesn't really matter to me.

You will like the Ovation's shootability. The only thing is that it's longer ATA distance could give you a mobility challenge in a treestand but we all had to deal with that some time ago anyway.

Like I said, my Ovation will be with me, maybe with a few upgrades, for a long time. That bow is just a nice shooter and very comfortable. I forgot one thing, I didn;t like the grip so I got a shrewd grip. That stock grip is really thick/wide/bulky for me. You might like it though. A couple of others that I that have Ovations just removed the grip and shoot off the riser.

So I got one today. Traded my 334 Ross for it. This bow is incredible. I don't remember a bow holding this steady for a while. I definately am happy with this swap.

I'll get them. This is one of those deals that just came out of no where. I got the Ovation through craigslist.

Yes goat bud....

Pics are good....

Did you get a camo one or one of the target colors like a few of us 3D shoot folks have.... (Blueberry...).....

The Blueberry Ovations look really cool, but shoot way better than they look.

You will not be dissapointed.

70 I have it set on 64-65. I got to shoot it tonight at 20 & 30 yards. This bow is truly awesome I haven't shot this well since owning a switchback. Here are some pics. Please excuse the peep tubing. I built my own ez press and need to modify the arms for the string suppresors to fit.
