R100 questions

I would be traveling a very long way for the shoot, and I heard there isn't any speed limits..is this true? and...is it actually possible to even think about shooting all 100 targets in 1 day? How long on average does it take to shoot the 50 in a day? Thanks!

Ricky...There are no guidelines at an R-100 as to speed or anything like that. No one will ask to see or check your equiptment. Shoot what ya brung!!! As for times...it all depends on the crowd. Last year in VT, Jen and I blew through the Safari side in under 3 hours. This past Saturday, it took 4 of us about 6 1/2 hours to shoot the 50 target Safari side, And about 3 1/2 hours to shoot the North American side.

As for shooting 100 in a day, people do it. Get there early!!! It's gonna be a long day to shoot 100. We had a couple target we waited 20 minutes to shoot. Expect a long back up at the "Apple buck". Lots of people looking for arrows!!!!

I didn't have that problem though!!!

its tiring for sure.. if you are going to do 100 in one day, i'd suggest you pack something to eat. if its backed up, you can always skip a few and come back later.

You can shoot all 100 in one day, did it two years ago and will never do it again. It's way to long of a day and your tired of walking and shooting by the end. If traveling is a big thing maybe make a weekend trip out of it.
