Default My New Toy

Well I decided to trade my foreign SUV in for an American made vehicle. I felt I needed to be part of the solution. Here is my new truck that I just picked up yesterday. I am waiting on the fiberglass bed cover to come in.

Wink What kind of deal did you get ?

They're making some good deals to move them pickups ,no doubt about that ! Last fall my son-in-law just about traded off his 03 Z71 for a new one ,thought he better call my daughter for the OK!He claimed that they were pratically giving them away and if it was alright to bring a new one home .

She asked him if a new wife was included in the deal, he assured her that salesmen said that that could be arranged .

He's still driving his o3 Z71 and happily married,so my daughter claims.

So did you get the new woman deal with that truck ?

I love my Tundra. 280,000 miles 0 major problems. Only things i have had to do is regular maintenance, replace 1 caliper (gotta thank my brother for that one, last time i let him help me change the brakes!), and the seal wore out on 1 rear axle (at about 240,000). Toyota has me in their camp for now...Also i refuse to buy a car from a company taking taxpayer money which means the only americian company i can buy from is Ford and I don't like their trucks...guess I am screwed on that front.

Nice looking truck though

I've got a '99 F150 4x4 it's been a great truck. If you ask me it don't matter as long as it is american. Oh yeah, and you are happy with it

Thats a great looking truck, don't ruin it with the fiberglass bed cover.

Unless you're in your 70s or something? Might as well turn out the whitewalls while you're at it.
