Researching my next hunting sight. Opinions, annyone?
I'm hoping to buy a new or used 5 pin, .019 fiber hunting sight this year. I also shoot some 3D but nothing serious. I like micro adjust windage and elevation. 3rd axis is prefered but not essential. So far, I'm leaning toward the Sur Loc Leathal weapon 2 and Copper John's Widowmaker. The Leathal Weapon looks to be more rust resistant than the Widowmaker. I hunt in all weather. Bright, long fiber for light gathering and a light are musts. The Widowmaker is around $70 cheaper but is the micro adjust durable and rust proof? Is the Leathal Weapon really worth the extra money? All experience is welcome, and I'm not set on these two sights. Any others that compare in quality and features will be considered. Thanks, Jeff.
PS: Feel free to post pictures of your suggested sights.

Almost a dangerous subject (lots of firm opinions) some great sights I am fond of are the axcel by tru-ball its called armortech-HD one of the best on the market... next would be the sniper by CBE scott archery bought this company last year and scott is a name you can trust...these are just a few there are many more great sights on the market...good luck!!!
I've switched to CBE target sights as they are built like a tank and are about as precise as it gets. Their pin sights look good too but it will be real hard for any sight to compare to the durability and adjustability of a Spott-Hogg.
I'm going to check out the new CBE pin sights, but I know that if you were to drop me off today on an "Survivor Island" and my life depended on my equipment there would be a Spott-Hogg on my bow.
Speaking of the wraps, I didn't even change mine out the first year the came out with them. I have sat back in some mighty black timber until after legal shooting time and could still see my pins well enough to shoot.
Maybe a few years from now my eyes won't be as good and that will change, but even the original sight without the wraps was fine for me.
I have actually had to cover my wraps if there is a lot of sunlight so my pins don't "halo".
The new sword centurion is an excellent sight and has the rear mounted sight tape.
Sword's lineup of sights are awesome, and the price is VERY reasonable for a sight with such quality! I just got my apex 3rd plane in the mail this morning and it is a steal for $115 since they custom made it for me with the top 2 pins in .029, middle 2 pins in .019, and bottom 2 pins in .010 all in green and red fibers at no additional cost and even come standard with a rheostat light!
