2009 Vortex Diamonbacks
The new 2009 Diamondback Binoculars will begin shipping next week to our dealers. The first shipment will include the 42mm and 28mm series followed by the 50mm in a few weeks and 36mm the first part of June.
So what's the difference with the new Diamondbacks? The following is a list of improvements: Optically: +7% better light transmission from additional optical coatings applied to the lenses. Construction: Argon purging - Upgraded purging process over Nitrogen. Argon does not absorb or react chemically with water - maintains its protective properties over a wider temperature range than Nitrogen- does not diffuse as quickly as other elements, extending the service life of the optics. Diamond checker pattern in protective rubber provides a solid non-slip grip in all conditions.

 the 8.5x50 Diamondbacks are unbelievable!Very bright at low light and crystal clear!!! Way to go Tim and Vortex
