Ron, I gotta say I'm very pleased with the durability of these astro flight strings...usually by now if I were using 452x or 8125s, my buss cables would be starting to show signs of wear & fraying on my cable slide...but not these AF strings...these fibers are very resiliant, almost like you described them to be "glass-like".
