Is this the first chasing that you have seen this year?

Bucks have been on the move the whole month of Oct. Very odd for my lease. Best season I have ever seen. Hearing alot of the same from other members.

PS

Does are about ten days away from coming in heat. That from my source in Fort Gibson area who owns a herd of deer. Have not seen one back leg black yet. But the bucks have it on there mind. This weekend will be prime bowhunting.

Default Good

My vacation starts this Saturday through Friday. Been planning this since about April. Looks like a good choice. Just hope it cools down a little by then. Moon should be about right by then too. That was a nice 10 point by the way Dan. That's just what I'm looking for. Hung a new stand yesterday. Found four rubs on cedars and one was about a telephone pole sized tree. Several scrapes in the area too. Kinda excited about this new spot.

Looks like you licked a good week. Im taking monday and Tuesday off. I think this may be the best weekend of Nov. Cooler weather would be nice.

Nothing like a good hot scrap. No telling what buck might come hit that baby right now.

Bucks have been chasing on us for about 2 1/2 weeks and not just little bucks. The scrapes have gone cold and the bigger bucks are on lock down on our place. We arent really getting many pics now especially on the scrapes. I am thinking that after this weekend they will be coming out of lock down and start looking hard again for receptive does.
Good luck everyone.
