Switchback for 3D?

I have a Mathews Switchback XT and have been thinking about shooting some 3D this coming year. I shoot a 27inch draw length at 70lbs and my arrows weigh about 377gr.

I am a new shooter and was just curious how this setup would work for 3D.

the sb xt is a great bow, I am sure many people can agree. If your yardage estimation needs work, the sb with your specs should produce a suitable speed so you do not have to be as accurate with your yardage estimation.

I was afraid that my bow would be too slow. I haven't shot through a chrono yet. From what I have read in other posts I think my bow will probably be in the 250-260fps range.That seems like it would be a disadvantage when there are other bows shooting well over 300fps. But,then again I am a new shooter and really don't know much about yardage estimation yet.

If you are going to be shooting ASA bows better not be anywhere around 300. ASA has a speed limit of 280. I don't know about IBO so I cannot tell you. 260 is a good speed if that is what you are getting, but do not worry about speed. If you can shoot your bow good then that is what you need to be shooting. Many people use their hunting bows for 3d bows anyways, so you should be fine.
