Someone posted this picture from a PBR magazine. I can't confirm or deny the validity of this picture.

looking at that I can't figure out how it would work as the riser appears to be solid... weird.
how long before Elite comes out with their version?

Well, to me, it looks as though there are pivot points on the riser, as if the ends of the riser would sweep back at full draw......?????? Strange, but I'm sure they are not going to market something that dont work..
As for the rumored specs......If that is what it does, I'll take an Allegiance!

Ok, just talked to Bowtech last night. They said the Guardian and Commander are going to cause a big stir in the industry.
The new system completely eliminates any cam lean. But that's not the big thing. The big thing is the pivot points are totally different. With the riser designed the way it is, it shoots and aims like a big bow. It has something to do with the pivot point being behind the grip instead of in front of the grip like typical systems.
No bow press needed to change the strings and cables.
Supposedly they tune incredibly easy. The average archer will see dramatic improvements in accuracy according to BT.
I know I can't wait till they show up so I can start testing them.
Oh here are some specs direct from Bowtech
Commander
37-1/4" Axle
7-1/2" brace
draw lengths 27-32"
IBO 318
Guardian
33-3/7" Axle
7-1/4" brace
draw lenghts 25-30"
IBO 329
Oh and get this a new Constitution
41" axle
8-1/4" brace
320 IBO
New cams on the tribute and allegiance. The Allegiance riser is a bit lighter this year.
Oh and Side Plate Grips . Target colors will be Chrome, Black Chrome and Marble. Boy I really liked the Blue and Red last year but they said it was too hard to produce.

That is a pretty ugly bow but, can you imagine what the traditional archers said when they seen the first compound????? If I can get my hands on one I'll give it a test.

Well I guess that is a relative term given this movie here...and they shoot recurves...a bow is only as good as the man shooting it, regardless of FPS, brace height, doodads and widgets.
It's about 4:30 mins in length and if you can do that bro with your Diamond join the olympics, oh and note the distances in meters too

I heard they got rid of the cam lean by changing the cables to the other side of the cam..... Swapped the cables and string around....

BowTech
I recently bought the Elite E-Force and what a bad experience this was. I personally can not wait for these new BowTechs to arrive on the shelves so I can see tyhem hands on. If they are as good as the other products Bowtech continues to put out I would be interested in one.
I currently shoot a Mathews Switchback (27 inch @ 60 lbs) and the E-force (26 inch @ 65 lbs). I am hunting with the Switchback this year because the dealer that sold me the Elite set the bow up so bad I didn't have time to shoot it. Sadly enough I brought the Elite to a dealer that sells BowTech and Mathews to fix it (same one that sold me my mathews) and he set the Elite up to shoot. At least now I can shoot the bow and get some enjoyment out of it. I just wish I had faith in the Elite Archery Company like I have had in all the bows I have owned and the companies that made them. Jennings, Browning, PSE and Mathews. I have searched for a contact email for Elite to answer some of my questions but they have absolutely nothing. I understand they are a new company, but they have to understnad the customers concerns. When they let their customers get the information from a forum about their (Elite Archery) bows, they are not a very good business to deal with.
All in all I do like the Elite Eforce, but anyone can see it is a Bowtech copy. The one thing that sold me over the Bowtech was the camo on it, very nice. Now that it is shooting for me and set up properly it is very fast but not as smooth as my Mathews Switchback. But owning the bow and having customer support from the company is two things thayt shold go hand in hand. They are two things that I will look for in the future. My own fault for jumping on a pretty bow without doing a little research on my own first. I also listened to a dealer that obviously didn't want to get stuck with bows from a going under company. But maybe the lesson here is you sholdn't screw the customer.
My .02 cents only.

In my line of work, I have learned to not make judgements until you have had the item in your hands and tested it. Otherwise you end up like this
Sometimes the goofy or strange looking items work the best. Just look back at the early opinions of drop aways, whisker biscuits and the STS.

ok so drop aways I will admit I said nah at first and found out there not so bad.......STS thought it was great from the begining and still do......
And last but not least the WB...............................they sucked when they first came out and my opinion has never and will never change.....thank you....
