tell me why when I draw my bow in the woods slowly I get shooting pain up my arm.....also happens when I let down, when I draw at a target it doesnt happen.....must be drwing different in the stand.....I noticed this yestarday when i had a doe come up and was contemplateing shooting her.....

I have noticed this the last few years but never payed much attention to it....

just a guess but when I draw in the woods I'm shaking like a little school girl so I try to lock my arms up by tightening my mucles... then drawing back the bow. I would imagine your doing the same thing.

or you could just be freezing your arse off and any movement hurts?

its not the cold part this time it happens even when its warm....

Probably the slower movement in the stand is using muscles differently than when you are target shooting and drawing much faster. You are in the draw curve longer causing the muscles to have to work a little longer before hitting the letoff.
