Need Help
I'm looking into getting a new bow I have shot Martin for years and have no complaints, I'm thinking of getting a Martin Salyer X with Nitro cams any feed back on this bow, I heard the Cams are hard to keep in tune?
My 2nd choice is a Mathews Switchback XT
I hunt and like to shoot 3d any thoughts
Thanks

I have a Scepter with Nitrous X cams and have no trouble with timing or any other tuning. It is the easiest bow to tune that I've ever worked on.
You don't even need a bow press to adjust the timing.
Of course if you use poorly made strings and cables, you will have problems with any bow.
I use strings and cables from the worst stingmaker that I know (me) and still don't have problems with this cam design.

Go for the matthews switchback xt I think you will be more satisfied. I have shot a friends switchback and i think it's awsome. It has the smoothest draw and it's very accurate.

In all fairness to the martin i have never had any problems with a martin, the also make some very nice bows. My father shot a martin for many years and had no problems with it.

Bowman also has a good point I have heard that matthews is going to come out with a new bow. It might be good to wait and see what they come out with.

I think you meant to say "I am in denial" but I can see how you would get confused and type exceptional instead
BTW - Not suggesting you leave the forum but there are a LOT of martin shooters on Archerytalk.com (its sponsored by Martin Archery). If your looking for some diehard martin fans they are on that site.
