Default ..where the X-ring is?

..one of 3 main components to shoot X scores is knowing where the X-ring is on the target....it is difficult to hit the X ring if you don t know where it is.
...what binocular would be best for 3D., What are you using....

Binos come in all cost. More money the better than bino.

Check out the vortex line.

These are decent for any archer. I use the Vipers 15X50

Diamondbacks are a good value

Not in ASA and I think IBO did away with their limit as well.

Your right your not suppose to use them on sanctioned events. but your local shoots just for fun they usally dont care. The IBO done away with the restrictions on binoculars. I use Alpen Apex 12x50. Their great.

On the rangefinders. I know around here they are used by a few, I've seen them, those using them don't turn in a scorecard. I confronted them. They are hunters who use them to hunt and want to practice just as they hunt. I personally have no issue with it. But the rules clearly state no rangefinders. I don't use one just because I never want my integrity questioned should I ever actually get good at 3D. I see they're value far more in the field than in competition.
