3d Shoots
Hey My Name Is Joe Ladd But I Get Called Alot Of Other Names. I" Im Interested In Opening A Shooting Range In Richmond, In Which Is Located East Of Indy About 70 Miles And West Of Dayton, Ohio On The State Line. I Already Have Paintball Fields On The Property With Mowed Trails Though The Woods. We Shoot Alot Out Here Already At Moving Targets,i"m Talking About Bow Targets Not Paintball Targets Although Thats Fun Too.if Anybody Has Ideas On The Types Of Setups That Are Fun Or Challenging Please Let Me Know. I"ve Been Shooting A Bow For Thirty Years And Still Find It As The Ultimate Hunting Challenge,well Maybe If Tim Wells Was To Take Me Spear Hunting But You Know What I"m Saying. Also Interested In Any Info On Leagues Or Somebody Interested In Useing The Property For Shoots Or Something For Kids To Come Out And Camp And Shoot. If Anybody Has Anyting To Say About It Please Let Me Know

I think you need to think outside the box at times.
But most your IBo and ASA shooters wont shoot this type of foremat.
It does them no good on practice for Pro ams.
But its a blast.

Most of the shoot we go to look like that. Missed target = lost arrow or stuck into a tree. We see a lot of broken arrows people leave behind in trees. I like those that are not open shots it makes you focus more on the target.
Here is a couple shots I found from last year.

Miss this one arrow in ravine. That is my son shooting
There was another we went to and there was an apple on deers nose and if you missed arrow went into lake.

In Oklahoma you wont get a big attendance if range is tough and folks lose arrows. Seen it for years.

That is a shame. I think the tough courses help you with your skills in hunting situations.

Arrows arent cheap! Your not suppose to take those kinda shots in the woods.  So unethical

All of the shots can be made. They don't set up anything impossible. My 13 year old boy's only had a couple misses all last year. You just have to think on some of the shots before you shoot like considering arrows flight path. Most are good hunting situations.
