Default Re-finish older bow?

I have a bow that's a few years old. I still like my bow but the finish is wearing off the riser. I was thinking about having it sand blasted and refinished with something like rhinolining or powder coating to give it that new look with camo limbs and a black riser.
Any one tried this or are there any pitfalls I need to be aware of?

You could have it re-dipped. Its a pretty common practice and not that expensive.

Your warranty will be voided. Otherwise, there are companies that do dipping, h20 imaging is one that does I believe. Powdercoat has been done as well, I've seen a couple that have turned out great!

I would probably avoid rhino or linex if it was my bow.

Have seen a couple that were done with Dura-coat... came out nice.
