First warm weather 3D

We had a very warm and windy day at 3D. Notice the flags blowing. I ended up scoring 299 with 2 - 5's.I don't know what I was thinking when I shot the 5's. My buddy got his Athens and this was its first trip out. There were 169 people at this shoot and it is a tough coarse with longer than normal shots. We have plans of shooting both days next weekend at different shoots. My wife tells me that my calendar is full every weekend for the summer. Here is a few photos from yesterday.

My 3rd. outing this year and I shot 299 out of 330 and had 2 - 5's. The winds didn't help. My buddy shot 292 with his and it was his first trip with it.

I was thrilled with my score having 2 5's. We shot the longest stakes to. That is my best score this year. Last Sunday I shot a 287 on a coarse that scores 10-8-5-0. If they would have counted the 11 ring I had 13 of them. I finished with a second place trophy. I missed 1st place by 1 point because the frog got me and it was my my only 5.

I shot a 283 with my TenPoint Titan TL-9 100# crossbow.

I enjoy shooting 3D archery.

I go almost every Sunday. I shoot from the hunter peg that is 35 yard max. That's my comfort zone for me.

We shoot every weekend. We travel all around the area o whoever has a shoot. Last weekend we shot both Saturday and Sunday. There were 10 in our groups. There were 4 kids in that group.

During the summer months, we, as a family love to go to different outside archery ranges for 3D archery tournaments. It is just one of the ways to stay in tune for your upcoming fall hunting season...My brother loves this and is going expert into it.

i love to shoot 3d, i have two bows one for the hunter stakes when my buddies want to shoot , or if i shoot with some of my buddies that open class stakes. my hunter set up is a pse rouge x set at 60 pounds and a spott hogg sight and chappy boss release, my targe set up is a mathews c4, with a x ring and viper .10 verticle green pin, dead center stabilizer on the front and left rear and a shrewd 8 inch on the right rear and my chappy boss with a talon head, i am going to buy a cbe quad lite 3d sight asap. i average about 275, but being my second full year shooting 3d im pleased with that, my best score to date is a 292 on 30 targets. im still learning alot but never forget to have fun.
