need help stringing bow

whats the best way to get started ?which one should i twist to correct ata & which one for the timming ?

The cable.


General rules when twisting strings & cables:
shorten the string - shorten draw length
shorten the cable - lengthen draw length

And visa versa.

ATA & Brace height do not need to be exactly at factory specs. Many bows shoot better with slightly different numbers. However, factory specs are a good place to start.

Also, factory specs are only accurate with the limbs turned all the way in. ATA usually doesn't change, but brace height and draw length will increase as you turn down the draw weight.

thank you ! should i twist the cable at the top or the bottom on the cam . I would like to get the way I had it ,thats when drove tacks .the ata was slightly less .I didnt know that about less draw weight increases bh thanks .

It looks like it's easier to twist at the bottom on this bow.

If you twist at the top, be sure to keep the legs of the split even so that you don't induce idler wheel lean.
