Default Fat Shafts

For those of you that use fat shafts ( line jammers, fatboys, x-ringers, etc.), what kind of points are you using? I don't want to use glue in tips for the simple reason of adjustable weight up front with different screw in tips. I can't find anything that is the same diameter or larger in a screw in tip. Any help?

I could be wrong, but the only one of those fat shaft that you can get screw in points for are Fat Boys. They come with a plastic insert.

I bought glue-in aluminum inserts from Victory for my X-Ringers but I can't find any screw in tips that are the same diameter.

I shoot 11/32" combo points on my X-Ringers. They don't fit perfectly flush to the insert but there isn't much over hang (1/64" all around).

I have noticed that the 24/64" and larger Easton inserts are tapered down to 11/32" diameter, so those can be used if it's a big concern for you. Use the 2413 sized inserts for the X-Ringers.

I am using 2413 110 glue in nibbs in my X ringers. I need the weight to get just over 300 gns. Conversely I don't see why line jammer (CX) parabolic points with inserts and adjustable weights wouldn't work.

As already stated; a 2413 Easton aluminum insert is the best you can do, and they're tapered down to 11/32". The wife has 75gr tips in her Xringers and I have 90gr tips in mine. I needed the extra weight in the arrow for a 70 lb bow, but keep in mind the inserts are 40-45 gr alone.

i use x jammers and my buddy that sets up my arrows had a tool made to put weights in and out of the tip from the back end of the arrow so we wouldn't have a problem with glued in tips...they work great...as for how or where he gets the tool i'm not positive but thats my solution.....i just shoot and let him worry about that end of the archery....

I use the glue in/add weight points for Line Jammers.

Made a "tool" to change out the weights from the nock end. Took an old skinny shaft, glued in an insert, then took one of the many Allen tools we all have laying around, using my Rotozip cut off wheel, cut off the correct size wrench for the point weights.
Then JB welded one end into the skinny insert, eyeball it straight until it sets up. Been using it just over 2 years.
