Jetmugg is on a distinguished road
Default Just getting back in the game....

About 10 years ago, my wife and I were fairly active in the 3D shoots in Indiana. Since then, we have moved to Missouri, had 2 kids, and been so busy that we haven't shot much.

Now I have a son who's about to turn 9, and I'd like to get back in the scene. I still have my Mathews SoloCam UltraLight, which I plan to use for 3D and informal target practice. Wife has a Jennings Micro Carbon Extreme XL, that was a very nice bow in it's day.

@ Christmas, my son got a Barnett Lil' Banshee, which he can shoot OK, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I needed to get him a slightly nicer rig.

What kinds of setups are popular for kids in the 8-9 year old range these days?

It feels good to be coming back to archery.
