HI, i have just got interested in target archery i have always been a bowhunter and one day shooting my friend told me i should start shooting target so here i am. what type of tournment is the most popular? what kind of gear do i need? what the rules are? and anything else. thank you for your replys and god bless!!

3D tournaments is the most popular I believe. 3D is where you shoot foam full sized animals in the woods at unmarked distances.

They shoot a Vegas 3 spot, scores 10,9,8,7 ect..

ten rounds of 3 for a total possible of 300....easy

Very good time, not sure I'll make it back down there this year but in years past it was a great time.

What a revelation to me, I was wondering about the format as well. Do they allow range finders or are you expected to "wing-it". Would a single-pin adjustable sight be appropriate/legal?
