Default Gold tip XXX and a Monster XLR8

I am looking into goldtips shafts, i'm trying to figure out which would be best for my set up before spending hundreds of dollars and finding out later which would have been best.
I currently shoot a monster XLR8.....and im shooting 71# my dL is...27.5....the XXX REGULAR shafts (and pro for that matter) have a .150 spine.....even if i cut it at 26 inch....it seems like it would still be too weak for this bow...i dont know a ton about arrows, just enough to know that this seems a bit off. I would be running a 100 grain tip.....blazer 1.5" sheild cuts....pin nocks and probably the HD nocks....is this a good arrow/bow combo?
Terry reynolds shoots a 73# XLR8 and a XXX.....so maybe?

Also, im looking at the 30X also, just due to the fact that i can reach 5-1 with that arrow combo. those being the regular shafts, not the pro.
Also, anyone notice a difference in the pros vs regular shafts?

Default Thoughts

I would ask Tim Gillingham on the Goldtip website. Tim pretty familar with most pros and what there shooting. He would be a good source for sure.

Here the link to contact him.
