I am looking at buying my first bow and am trying to decide which way to go. The pro shop I went to and will buy my bow through said that the 2010 Bear Charge RTH package would be a good entry level bow that would offer me the opportunity to learn but also would give me the chance to upgrade as I got better.
I have also seen online that Bear offers a 2010 Bear Strike RTH package. Now, to me, this essentially looks like the same bow and has every similar performance specs, with the exception of the dual string suppressors with rubber dampeners on the bow.
So I guess what my question to the community is; is it worth roughly the extra $100 on the price tag to get the suppressors on the Strike or does it not make enough of a difference because this is going to be my first bow?
I do plan on hunting with it though, just not until I get proficient with it.
