Default Who's getting a new bow and what model?

Ok, so know almost all bows for 2011 have been released.

Are you sticking with your current bow or are you planning on getting something new.

Let us know what you plan to get.

I'd really love a Contender, but one of the older archers I see at shoots is doing very well with a Bow Madness. He says it's so much easier on his shoulders than the bow he used to shoot.

Since I've had a little soreness that cuts my practice time down, I'm going to have to look into it a little more. My short DL makes it difficult to find a bow to try out.

It doesn't hurt that the BM is so much less expensive.

There are certainly not any shortage of options this year, between the major brands and all the upstarts we have seen in these past couple of years. Really this is a great time to buy, we have more selection then ever!

I will purchase somnething new from the mathews line up for myself, just not sure what yet.....short ATA's and myself don't mix well, but I am intrigued and may try that route again?

I have two sons, the older one got a new Triumph and Monster last year so hopefully he will be satisfied with that and the other bows he has.....he even set up a prestige for bowfishing.

I will be purchasing the younger one a new target bow. Currently he is shooting a Prestige and he would like a Triumph. I am just not sure he will shoot it as well. I think the triumph is a great bow and the other we have here all drive tacks, but with his 26.25" draw he might be better with something else.

Chris, sounds like biz is looking good for this next year?

I'm waiting to see if I get on at my local pro shop as a shop shooter. If I do, I will probably end up with a specialist. If not, I'll look for something used. Possibly the 2010 sentinal hanging there. I want a bow for 3D. My hubby thinks I should put the adjustable sight tape on my HHA so I can use my current set up for 3D too but that will bump me up a class and I want to stay in bowhunter, especially for indoor. Besides, he has 3 bows, why can't I have 2 lol ?

Default Me me me

Got a new Elite Tour bow coming my way soon I hope.
See a picture at this link

http://www.elitearchery.com/products/2011-bows/tour/

Encouraged Elite to make a longer axle bow and the new Tour is 38" axle to axle.

Might regret selling that Hoyt Pro Elite with shoot through risor.

I'll be getting a couple of new bows from Area 5150 Archery, a new company that builds a lever limb bow with fastflight cabling systems for a smoother, faster and quieter draw. The release is just around the corner and I have been testing a couple of prototypes for them this past summer and fall.

There are a lot of Great options out there for 2011. Great time to be in the market for a new bow.

I'm sure I'll have a couple, but right now just waiting to see what it is! I like to let the Bow choose me!

Well, I had planned on just upgrading a few little things on my bows.
But when I went to the proshop today, Bob told me that as soon as the new MR6and MR7 came in he could give me a real sweet deal on the '10 monster. I've been wanting that bow forever. I promise that will be my last bow for awhile.

Default What bow and why

There are lots of good bows out there, but here is why my new Bear Carnage is better then the rest for under $900.00

1. One Cam, Fastest one cam available! No tuning problems with a one cam.
2. 7.25" brace and still the fastest one cam!
3. Better grip. The carnage has a 17degree rubber squear hand grip. Ask the pro's about angle and shape,, this is what they choose.
4. Lighter with No hand shock. It weighs in at 4 and you cant hear it go off, let alone feel it!!

Yes its a Bear! Its the best one they have ever made! and Fred is Proud again!!
