Apparently i have an issue when i draw my bow back, the head of my release is tilted sideways sort of twisting my loop, i have an old cobra release with a swivel head, i figured being a swivel head that would not tilt like it is, i have been looking into a new scott release just curious if its something i am doing wrong or is the release not doing its job??

Twisting your release isn't a big deal as long as you do it consistently every time. The problems arise when you twist it differently each shot.

Google photos of Jeff Hopkins. He won shooter of the year several times and he twists his release more than anyone I've ever seen.

In general, you want a natural, relaxed release hand position since that is usually easier to repeat every shot.

There are proper ways to do things or ways to do things that are more easily repeatable, but......................................

The main thing is to the same thing the same way everytime. Consistency is the key!
