Monster Grip
What grip is better between the 2......i like how comfy the wood grip is, but it promotes torque, the focus grip isnt quite at comfy, and for that reason im not very fond of it, is there a grip thats better than these and more comfortable?
I shot the monster XLR8

I'd put a Torqueless Grip on it, although the focus looks to be the better option between the 2.
I have always hated Mathews grips.

After reading many posts on many forums about the fat grip on the Mathews, was sure I would have to buy an after market grip to make my new M6 boogie....
The money that was saved by not investing in that direction went into my next bow.
Have no scientific data to verifi my peronal expeience but strongly believe that if you have a good neutral bow hand, a meer mortal will be unable to distinguish the diff between stock and after mareket grips on that bow.
On the other hand.....the economy could use another boost

you would think as many people that has complained about the sucky grips mathews has that they would do something about it by now. the focus grip is a big improvement over the stock but why did it take them so long to just now put it out.

I agree it has taking awhile to reach the ears of Tech support at Mathews.Inc
But the good news is they have heard and now offer the focus grip installed when ordering new bow. I love the grip, but it's not for everyone as such the Mathews bow is not to everyone. That's what makes the archery world so great theirs a flavor for everyone to be different in choices and styles of there tastes.I remember when your bow string only came in factory color, but now you can mix and match your bow strings to your liking too. Archery Rocks.

Why did it take so long?
Maybe there wasn’t a problem to start with as far as the grip, and the real problem was the person behind the bow but then again we can always spend some cash on a product that’s going to help increase our scores versus just learning to shoot the bow repetitive, many records were broken with that grip.
It’s just a bow and or grip, learn to shoot it well and be happy, Folks seem to get so caught up in the idea you have to keep spending in order to shoot well, kinda like the release thing.
Just my thoughts

There were also a lot of bow buyers buying them up and not complaining about the grip. I have larger hands and like the stock grip on my SB XT. Different strokes for different folks. Have a nice day.
