Any riders here?
I was from my single digits until my first was a couple years old. Getting the itch again now that he's graduating college. Going looking at couple in the next week. I feel I'm not ready for the rocking chair just yet.

Used to ride years ago. Then life got too busy so I sold my bike. Now I am looking for another. Hoping to find a nice used Honda 1800VTX. Found one last year that was perfect but used the money to buy a new house.

My brother has been riding a Road King since 03 with zero problems, and likewise his Fatboy before that. Harleys are not the problematic bike we remember from the 70's or early 80's. Since the employees bought it back form AMF/Voit in the early 80's, and the advent of the EVO motor, they've been pretty damm good, just pricey. To each his own. I like JAP or Euro, brother likes Harley.

I agree the new Harley's are nice bikes but not worth the extra $10,000-$15,000.

Not worth the extra cabbage
It's getting harder and harder to tell the difference between a HD and some of the newer Jap bikes, they even sound like a HD.

Park it at your local biker bar, and when you come out you may see the difference You'd better rub off the honda wing.
They run great, last forever, but some just can't abide by the copy. Much like trad archers VS compounders, not good to in-fight. Either you ride or not.

those pics are just proof that yours are bigger than mine.
That is a crazy sport with a high likelyhood of road rash.
