First time for me too.

It was fun but a challenge to pee......all that rocking motion and the beer made for some interesting trips to the john...(glad I don't have to clean it).......I was hoping they would stop at a corn field and make things easier on me. No such luck

You bet , Iowa is the plasce to pee , as that's where the tall corn grows and yes we still got some railroad tracks that haven't been turned into bike trails or cornfields !

So who's doing what this weekend?

For me it's time to fire up the chain saw and fill the wood shed......winter on it's way. It sucks when you work harder at home than at work.

Years ago I loved running the chain saw....it was manly, it was fun....gruntgruntgrunt.....now I hate the dang thing and every year I wonder if this is the year I cut off my leg.

Oh well it's the price I pay for being to cheap to buy gas for heat all winter long.

I'm going out to clean up a couple of stands and pull the card on my camera.

Then I think I am going to take the wife and kids to a local dirt track for some good old fashioned racing.

sunday will likely be nothing but yard work.

The wood cutting didn't go so well.......some one mentioned golf and 9 holes turned into 18 and you know golf is thirsty work....it was all down hill from there.

aaauuuughhhhh.......I just found out my favorite(and best) tree and stand blew over in the last storm.

And to top it off it fell on top of the apple tree that has done such a good job of bring in a boat load of deer over the last 10 or so years.

All my hopes and dreams of the season crushed in one fatal gust of wind.
