Getting Spooky in CA - Be Careful!
I think it's time for bowhunters to fight for the right to carry a sidearm while hunting...the scumbags invading our public lands are killers.
http://www.advocate-news.com/ci_18684879
Seems to me that this murder and all the WILD JUSTICE episodes prove there is a CLEAR & PRESENT DANGER to sportsmen in our wilderness areas and therefore is justification for a legal motion to suspend the sidearm restriction on bowhunters who are at risk of being killed by pot growers and meth lab operators. If this is filed in the right district, it could take a week to pass and would be a huge victory for an organization like CalGuns or the NRA. I'm certain there are a lot of hunters who would support such a filing and help spread the word to others.

Those are nice. I had the 357mag with a 8 3/8 SS barrel. A real tack driver.

Nope, no wagon hitched to the back, but I did make a 2500 cu in 'saddlebag' pack for it, has two big side bags, a large top bag, and a small 'tail' bag. the first three bags have compression straps, as seen here.

Naw, not yet, for some reason, the critters don't seem to want to play along. But trust me, as soon as I take an animal, there will be tons of pics! My son and I spent this week-end checking out an old BLM unit where some of the roads are now overgrown, clearing them so that we can ride down into the drainage. In late April, early May, we had 11 elk vanish in the area, we've been all around it, and have not found any trace of them, so we think that they are down in the bottom of the unit where two large creeks form a larger drainage. This is in the same area that I had the trail cam, so we could come up out of there with anything from deer, elk or bear. my son's bike is as well armed as mine is.

I used ATV handlebar gun racks that I got from Cabela's, Pac Rack is the only name on them. I had to make a small modification to get the bow to lay like I wanted, but all that was is a couple of pieces of elastic cord to make a cushioned place for the riser to rest on. Hardest thing to do was to get the spacing right, had to cut away part of the handlebar grips, and move shifters in some. That bike gets me into a lot of timberland that is closed to moterized traffic. And does'nt hurt my shape any either. Heres a view of my modification and a look at my view while riding.

LOL, I refer to my bike as a truck, as it is set up to haul a heavy load, I can fit a quartered deer into that pack easily, might take a couple of trips to haul out that bear, though. But both my son and grandson have simalar packs on their bikes.
