I don't know about you !
But the word on the street in this fine midwestern town , is that it was the butler or possiblely the neighbor !
After a few more adult beverages it thenn was decided that it had to be " Moby Dick " because it was at sea , though a WW2 Jap sub was spotted in that same area back in '41 or '42 !
Then things at that wateringhole turned to whose buying , and I had to sneak the heck out of there !
I survived !
Only in America !

But it hasn't started any moisture outside yet , so the fear of any wet weather seems to be just a RUMOR , as time will tell !

I got my slug gun ( got 5 of them ) sighted in and ready for this weekend of second season , when I go !

You are so right , after all you need a Hoyt in order to take a big tall corn state Iowa buck !
I will be armed properly with full battle deer hunting dress , that's up to code here with the DNR and will be carrying about 50+ rounds of 12 ga. slugs , so I will be heard while in the timber and cornfields !
