I just bought my first digital game cam this year. I choose the Wildgame inovations ir4. Got it from Bass Pro. The only bad thing I found was I could have gotten the ir6 at Wal-Mart for 20.00 less.
It takes great photos and the trigger speed is great. All the day time photos were crystal clear and the night ir photos were nice and clear. Programing the cam was simple and fast.
Going to go check it tomorrow if I can figure out how to post a few of the pics I will so you can see for yourself.

Keep us updated on that inexpensive camera, it would be nice if you could get one that works well for a decent price. Battery life is a big one to monitor and also camera life. I had a different brand a few years back and those were the major problems with it. I know I spent more for batteries, cause I bought the 12V bigger battery and box as well as all the Cs, than I did for the camera and it only worked for about 3 months.

I have a Truthcam 60. I love the camera. It has Awesome battery life and takes great pictures. IT is my first camera so I have nothing to compare it to. This is the 2nd year it has been out and so far I would definitley reccomend it.

They claim to have a 90 day battery life. It's been out for 4 weeks now and has only lost one bar out of four on the battery meter. Like any other camera the more pics you are getting the faster its going to run the batteries down. I have been watching for a 12 volt system for it. As far as carmera life I hope it last for a few years at least if not I'll let EVERYONE know!

Bobcat I Beleive is what it is since hes from MO.
Cudde back. I have had nothing but crap luck with them and there customer service sucks. Literally sucks. I never post negative things on an open forum but I want everyone to know about them.
I have owned 3 different cudde's. The excite, The big high dollar IR and a capture. The excite would quit on me about every 2 years and it would cost me $75 to fix so finally I traded it in and spent $125 more dollars to get the new capture.
My high dollar IR has quit on me now 3 times. Each time costing me from $75 to $125 to get fixed. Not counting shipping on it and the excite. Cudde back wanted me to upgrade ( price wise it was down grade cause i spent close to $450 for the camera alone )but my IR cost almost twice as much as the capture IR and they wanted me to pay an extra $125. Come on. Honestly for the price ive paid and for how many times I have had to send my cameras in for repair they should fix them for free. Its always about 2 years on cuddes. Atleast thats been my expereince.
Worst customer service and camera life I have ever had. I have moultries that are 4 years old and they are still working today. Customer service is good to. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CUDDE BACK. If there customer service was better then I might give them another shot but till then forget it.

In all honesty any of them. I have the cheap ones all the way to the More expensive ones. Flash and IR. I dont think you will go wrong with them.
My biggest thing is customer service. I know things go wrong all the time with electronics. Trust me. I worked in the casino gaming field for 15 years and I could fix a game and 2 days later it was back down again. The thing is I spend almost $500 on my Cudde Back IR cameras and 2 yrs later it breaks down and they expect me to spend $125 to get it fixed. Thats ludicrous but guess what I did. 14 months later it craps out again. No warranty left. This time they wanted me to pay $125 and trade my camera in for the capture ir. The capture ir is close to $200 cheaper than what i paid for my camera and they want me to spend an extra $125 for a so call upgrade. What ever. That was my last straw with them. I have a camera now thats worth almost $1000 and a capture IR that I am sure will go to crap soon cause its getting close to 2 yrs old. It always seems they make it rt at 2 yrs before crapping out. Funny how electronics can be set up this way.

It's part ofthe throwaway world we live in. If they lasted any longer than that they wouldn't stay in buisness very long It probly all comes from china and only cost them $25 to make and charge us hundreds to buy one because they know we will.

Ive worked in electronics for 15 years in the gaming industry. Trust me. I know how companies program chips to make a device stop working after a certain date. We used to do it all the time. Mainly to make sure our company was being paid our percentage of the profit. Since our games werent networked to our main server we would preprogram a chip to quit on a specific date just to be sure we were paid. If we werent being paid then we wouldnt unlock our games.
Its just as easy to do that with anything with a PCB (printed circuit board ) that is in a camera.
