Where's Bruce? will become famous soon enough
Default How long can you hold full draw?

Recently I was advised to practice holding my bow at full draw. The guy telling me this said he would practice holding a 68lb draw for 30 minutes. I'm not even close. Was he yankin' my chain? A half hour sounds like horsepoop.

I'm gonna call B.S. on the 30 minute hold time. I'm willing to bet him a beer he can't hold his empty arm straight out for 30 minutes let alone a 70 pound bow.

I use to practise staying at full draw as long as I could and then try to make a good shot at the end but I ve got lazy in the last few years.

Hold both arms out above your waist strait out and don't lower them, in 10 min your arms will feel like your holding 50 pound weight's.

I think he was yanking your chain I could hold it for maybe a few minutes but I don't know how good of a shot I'd be able to make afterwards
