I need someone to hold my hand?
Is .006 at +\- 2 grains going to make much differance on a hunting arrow compared to .001 at +\-1 grain ???The diffrence in price is about $50 but is the differance worth it??? I'm a tight old bugger

I have switched exclusively to .003 on all of my Hunting/3D arrows for this very reason!
I hunt with GoldTip 7595 Expedition Hunters which are .003 and my daughter uses Beman ICS Bowhunter 400s which are .005 I'm stacking them the same as I was when I was using the Pro Hunters at .001! I won't spend the extra money again!

I cant tell the difference between the pros and the low grade. the inperfections are on the ends, when i get raw shafts i cut them on both ends to get to the core sweet spot so to speak

A little known fact !
I buy whatever carbon arrows of the same , that Wally- World has on sale after season . I save a bundle , otherwise it's goldtips for 3D !

I shot some .001 and .oo6 out of my hooter shooter at 40 yards and they all grouped the same. that was good enough for me.

a pc of paper is .003 thick,that being said if you can hold a bow steady enough to tell the difference between .001 and .006 over 25 to 30 inches on an arrow then you my friend must be one h3ll of a shooter
