We will be going to the cemetery on Monday with My daughters girl scout troop. Went last year with my sons boy scouts.
I gotta tell ya, I got pretty choked up. Many (too many) dont realize what our troops do for us. I really do appreciate all who serve this country.

Just a thing I have had hanging on my wal
I think the middle stanza says it all.:usa As always I will spend the day at Jefferson Barracks Cemetary here in St. Louis. This will be a harder one for me as three of my "brothers" that fought alongside me in "Nam" have passed on this past year. They will be remembered, Semper Fi Bob

I appreciate everyone who has ever worn a uniform. My grandfather and brother included.

Had a brother - in -law who was at Khe Sanh during the Tet offensive back in '68 . He was in the Army ( draftee , like myself ) , who releived the seize there , a very little known story as he was with the 1st Cav ( known as " The Air Cav " ) and let me ( Marine Vietnam Vet '70 ) know it when I brought it up as he was on one of the first Army copters that landed there !
The Corps doesn't want many TO KNOW SOME OF THESE FACTS , so don't tell anyone ( as the truth may hurt some of my brothers feelings ) !
