ASA - Florida Federation 2012 Season

Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are about to embark into a new year, this season we are planning on having more qualifiers in a lot more areas so that everyone has a strong chance to go for shooter of the year.

A few things different that we are doing for the 2012 season;

The SOY point system will be operated in a manor, like NASCAR; What this entails is the following;

We will not be going by shooter score, but we will be going by a point system.

1st place will be 50 points plus 1 pt for winning
2nd place will be 49 points
3rd place will be 48 points and so on

A shooter MUST shoot 3 shoots to be even considered for SOY shooting/standings.
A shooter can shoot more then 3 qualifiers if they choose to but, you will only be awarded a bonus ( 1 ) point if you win in your class with a minimum of 5 shooters at that shoot.

When the state shoot comes up the total points a shooter has accumulated will then be added to their state shoot score, this will crown the shooter of the year for 2012.

This is only for the adult classes.

This years shooting fee will be $25.00

The only adult classes that do not have a SOY criteria are: Men Bownovice, and Open C

All other adult class have a chance, by participation only.

Something new we are wanting to do in the state of Florida.

We want to welcome ALL the 3d shooting PROS to come and shoot at the qualifiers. We will have a class for you all, as well at the state level.
Just with all classes of pros will be shooting against each other; Mens/ Womens / Senior. as one class.

We also will have a website, showing the standings from the shoots, pics and useful information about 3d and what is going on in our state.
