has anyone started shooting any indoor 3d this season yet and if so whats a respectable score on a 30 target course and post up some pics of youre set up.

we started our indoor two weeks ago . ive had it for 9 years now but shooters are down .we have two divisions . theres one bonus target there all ibo now perfect score is 372 my partner shot 352 last week high score is 358 . in the upper division we dont keep are own scores . but id say my average shooter is around 285 you can see our range on youtube under springstead trading post archery range . theres over 100 trees in the building .

indoors we all shoot the same class. but outdoor 3d, i shoot the open class with a 50 yard max.

I got no doubt the oldest bow ( a Hoyt of course ) , but time tested so eat your hearts out guys !

If I had to trade every other year , what kind of a buyer of bows would that make me ?

That 3D bow of mine , is a Hoyt Alphatec ( early model ) , 30 inch draw , master cams equiped , limbs set at 65 lbs. and sends my Goldtip arrows downrange chronograph at 282 fps.

Man that thing is old. I havent heard of that bow from hoyt or even seen one. Looks good for being old. I will post pics of my Evo when its tuned up.

If its speed youre talking about then i had a 2010 pse omen. now that was fast! but i think that hoyt has a more true ibo speed rating than mathews and i think no one can argue that. but like i said to each their own and whatever works for you. and it wasnt a z7 mag it was a regular z7 i had

That was the very first tec model bow made , it has that built in overdraw ( remember them ? ) and I just love it , as it fits me !

Wow a good Mate of mine Peter still shoots this same bow!!!His nickname is Old Skool,but he sure can shoot!!! We all say it we wouldn't like to see him with something modern in his hand,he might just kick our asses Hmmmm Carppy OldSkool this has a nice ring to it

Checked out your indoor range on youtube and have to say thats cool!!!!I'd love to be there at christmas time with all those christmas treesWe might need one of those over here as it won't let up raining at the moment!!!!Might have to look into doing something like this here,weve got the shed for it just need the insentive to pull our finger out

This bow has a net worth of about $100 with all the extras , as it's a painted bow and folks , such as land baren Gator Eye , who no doubt shoots painted bows , but not used ones !

You can't hardly give a painted bow away , so I'll just keep mine !

The camo Alphatecs bring about $ 200 , today ! As they got some of the best resale of bows of that age , sad isn't it .

I brought my Hoyt LX protec , 2002 painted target bare bow back in 2004 for $300 as the owner couldn't give it away !

I like the old Hoyt Protec bows the best !
