A little known fact !
I got no doubt the oldest bow ( a Hoyt of course ) , but time tested so eat your hearts out guys !
If I had to trade every other year , what kind of a buyer of bows would that make me ?

That was the very first tec model bow made , it has that built in overdraw ( remember them ? ) and I just love it , as it fits me !
It's so old that nowhere on it does it even say Alphatec , most folks who don't know about Hoyts , think it is a Hoyt Carbonite bow , I own a Accutec also , besides some other Hoyts !

Your buddy Pete is a smart dude then !
This bow has a net worth of about $100 with all the extras , as it's a painted bow and folks , such as land baren Gator Eye , who no doubt shoots painted bows , but not used ones !
You can't hardly give a painted bow away , so I'll just keep mine !
The camo Alphatecs bring about $ 200 , today ! As they got some of the best resale of bows of that age , sad isn't it .
