Who uses a wrist strap type such as a little goose and how do you use BT with it

using a trigger release w/back tension is mind over matter thing. it can be done. instead of moving your finger tip, keep it on the trigger but pull your hand/arm/shoulder instead.

This is the kind of release I use for hunting and shoot it just as red44 stated.

I'm shooting a thumb trigger using a "back tension" style. As I pull and rotate elbow back it pulls thumb across trigger (trigger travel is set small). but I still have the ability to apply pressure with thumb as needed to get the shot off. If I'm floating on the spot let the arrow fly!

i use the scott wildcat release and use my middle finger to activate the release. think about it, its a little longer than youre index finger and you can wrap more of youre finger around the trigger to set it off. i have done this for years now and it just feels natural

I use a tru-fire wrist strap release and I fire it with back tension all the time. I have the length set so the bottom pad of my index finger (below the knuckle) lays on the trigger when I'm ready to fire I just slowly add tension to the back muscles and alway get a surprise release. It also helps me get a proper follow through.

Just don't over-think it. Form over trigger. Don't you think a BT release can be hammered? Hell ya it can. There's no big secret, stay on target and pull through your shot. The more you think or dwell on it the more it screws with you. BT is just pulling through your shot. Finger shooters do it also. Don't get hung up on what type of release it is. It can be done with all of them.
Put a deer in front of me and it all goes to hell anyway, but that's another thread. LOL
