theres no doubt that john shepley tried taking over the reigns back several years ago and didnt do very well at all. but daddy had to bring it back on top and lets see if son can keep it there.

You are right about that. In any company, everyone should be training his own successor. It seldom happens that way and too often good companies fail when one person retires or dies.

Hopefully Pete realized that his successor wasn't ready the first time he tried to retire and has put a lot of effort into getting someone ready. It would be a shame if we lost PSE.
