I know I know very very bright. But its not hunting season! and I am a string builder who can't stand blah! Besides just before hunting I change and build camo strings to match.

I bit the bullet and picked up this:
General Archery Forum
A 45# Bear Grizzly; think it's early 70's vintage. Not going to use it this season but I'm going to take a run at switching over to traditional for next year.

Sweat recurve, I still have a old bear 25 or 30 pound that I started with, every once in awhile I pull it out and shoot at cans with it.I keep saying one day I m gonna get a recurve big enough to shoot a deer with.

Sweet bows, new and old. Snow camo'd binaries to stick and string.
dbd what lenth is it? 58, 60, or 62? LOL I do like the old recurves. I'd like to get a Grizz in a 62" or Kodiac in a 62" or more.

Only takes about a 40 lb'r and a sharp broadhead. - and lots of practice. You can go bare bow or use sights and rests. Traditional doesn't mean the dark ages.

It's a 58". The longer bows are a little easier they say but I do a lot of hunting out of my climber so I compromised. I figured this would still be a little easier than a 52" Kodiak Magnum.

I'm playing with the Hoyt PCEXL at the moment. Not the best photo, doesn't show the four colour strings and two colour serving.

Default New C4 Sadie to the collection of shooters.

Sadie has already won two local indoor shoots and thinking this bow is a keeper.

Wish more compound shooter would figure out that a bow doesn't have to be 30" long to hunt with, treestand or not.

My fun bow is a 62" Martin Diablo TD recurve. Was going to post pics of my Alien Nemisis, but they're on my other computer.
