Keep Hoyt or go Mathews?????
Ok i'm gonna throw y'all a bone here for opinions.
I am looking at gettting rid of my Hoyt Katera, but I am looking at a Mathews Legend or a Mission Craze ......i would like your thoughts, Cam lean problems are arizing and my only choice is to make it a rigid yoke...Thank you and God Bless

Beings that you asked !
I'm a Hoyt man who owns only 4 of them , beside one old Jennings Buckmaster , a Martin Firecat , a PSE Kingfisher and a Mission Menace .
I like my Hoyts alot , but my buddy Westy will give you the scoop on his latest change of going the other way than you that is !
I've never got rid of any of my Hoyts , as they are keepers !

I own 4 Hoyts as well, no significant cam lean issues, but I do have the long Xt3000 limbs on everything including my killing bow. I have custom tied strings on the lot and have extended floating yokes.
All I can say is if you go with Mathews
1.) not as good limb quality, hoyt and barnsdale are the best.
2.) quirky tuning with one cam set ups especially if your accustomed to hybrids.

Top or bottom cam? The top can be dealt with with that static yoke you mentioned. Bottom might be just a bearing. Or do you just want a new bow?

It's for the grandkids , but can be made to fit me .
It's fine bow for a one size fits all ( right handed is mine ) , the new one is the Riot model .
It works just fine !

Thinking about it but i may try the stable yoke first and drop the poundage a lil. Just feel like i have gotten the most proformance out of it. Trying to balance it a lil better an redo the grip.....again

Bowtech
I have owned a hoyt and a Mathews both are great bows but when I went and purchased my BOWTECH it was love at first shot ...personal opinion but I believe the bow depends on the shooter and the comfort level they have with it

Can't go wrong with either the legacy or a switchback, both have put alot of deer in the freezer. No blistering speeds compared to the new bows but good shooting bows. Speed is'nt everything. There is'nt a heck of alot of difference between 300 and 330IBO in a normal 20 yard shot. 1 or 2 pins will get you all the deer you can eat. Ask Smokes how he likes his switchy. All you need is a bow that fits you well and you are consistant with.

I have a Mission Riot and I must say it is the best bow I own. I have gotten a robin hood at 50 yards with it.
Of all the bows I own and let’s get one thing clear I only own one the Riot is at the top of the list.
