Default What rest?

2010 Bengal, what rest?
Here are the ones I am looking at. Apache, Revolution, Code Red and the ultra rest.
Fire away give me your opinions and why!

Myself i get along good with the code red and the ulra rest. The ulra i like how it ****s up with your thumb on the side and seams to be a little quieter than the code red.Acuracy was the same between the 2 for me. My 3d budy likes the nap and has had good luck with it,i just dont like a rest setting over my hand .............

I use a NAP Apache on my hunting rig... Seems to work great in snow/rain/cold. Really as good as my biscuit but it doesn't freeze. PLUS it doesn't cost $200, in fact less than $50.

Default K.i.s.s.

I still like a prong or spring steel.

Once set up there is not much to go wrong.

I've had a code red on my Nemisis since March. Fortunately no issues so far. I did do a few modifications to it, though. I removed the containment bar and cut the forks down to about 1/2" high.

limb driver pro-v is a pretty good rest ... very accurate and a lot easier to set up than a rest that is tied to your cables like the qad ones

Talking Here's what I think !

I never like the idea at first , buy they are the most popular rest in my neck of the woods , and I've never worn one out , just replaced them with a QAD rest !

They make great bowfishing rests , as they make a bowfishing biscuit rest that will hold a heavy bowfishing arrow .

I don't like them ,, because you can cause them to be off center by swinging a nock bow around , when you hit the arrow on a branch , but if you are checking for that problem and correcting it , they are great hunting rest !

They would be my second choice , after the QAD rests for hunting !

Limb driver on one and TT original on the other. never had an issue with either. Never needed a "total containment"type rest. I'm not a gymnast in the woods.

Thanks; now I have a picture in my head!

Even with a full containment rest I'm lucky not to find a way to drop the arrow.
