Default Aerovane II

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and was looking for a little help and advice. Has anyone used these vanes, Aerovane II? Also I was looking to start doing my own fletching and try different things. Can the Aerovanes be fletched with something else other than what Firenock offers (to much $$$$ for theirs). All thoughts are appreciated.

Default Aerovane

Hi again, after putting the post up last night I looked at many other here and believe there are other jigs that will work with these vanes, That said I was hoping to get some feedback from other hunters on their thoughts and how these perform. Thank you.

I've placed them on shafts using a Bitz. Had to use dbl back tape to hold a 1/16" square piece to the clamp to give the clamp enough clearance for a feature on the vane. Not sure if things have changed since then because I've only tried them once... can't resist trying new stuff.

IMO, if you take the time to tune your equipment, there are many economical vane choices that will do the same job.
