tree stand for deer, ground blind for turkey. Only problem is my blind isn't big enough to shoot my bow with the door closed.... Never attempted a stalk before other than squirrels.

Hmm in New Zealand it is very hard to find animals that will come into a feed plot or anything our country is open after from the bush, all my hunting in new zealand is spot and stalk with great sucess i have bow hunted since i was a kid and never sat in a blind or tree stand, we have whitetails in NZ to which are crafty little buggers which are my difficult. then we got the red stags which in the roar "bugle" you can call them in to a certain degree, then the alpine animals such as tahr and chamoi which you have to spot and talk throught high alpine grasses and rocky outcrops.
because I get bored easily.I like the idea because I like power hiking and taking photos already.I could end up like a buddy who got into fly fishing though-it took him until halfway through his 2nd season to catch his first fish.
It obviously takes more patience than I'll ever have to wait silently for hours in a blind.
I get to impatient to stalk, tried it many times and end up pushing deer instead of stalking deer.
I do enjoy my tree stand time, it's the only time I get to read a book or just sit back, relax and do nothing, if a deer wanders in all the better..
I am disabled & it limits me from doing alot of walking so i am betting ready to buy me a Ameristep Brick House Ground Blind I foun one on Ebay for $94 & free S&H it's the best deal i have found yet what other blind do any of you fella hunter use/ recommend i always have a open mind
I prefer comfort zone tree stand , basic tree stand is 17' but I buy and add a 5' section to put me up at 22'. Early bow season well hidden by leaves and small branches, late season out line is broken up making me hard to spot.
