2013 Presleys Midwest Open Early Registration Now Open
Registration for the 2013 Presleys Midwest Open Archery Tournament is open for those shooters that shot the 2012 Event.
This early registration is open from October 1 through October 15 for ONLY those that actually shot the 2012 event.
As always, the registration is on a first-come, first served basis.
There are no waiting lists and line times are NOT held or reserved for anyone - - first to click, gets the pick.
NOTICE: For those that did NOT shoot the 2012 event, PLEASE do not attempt to register before midnight on October 15.If you try to register during early registration, your registration will be declined and you WILL have to re-register after October 15 on the first-come, first served basis, first click gets the pick basis.
Here is the address of the Presleys Web-site where you can see the flyer and register for the event.
Remember, there is only room for 208 participants.
CUBS can only register for Saturday at 8AM or Saturday at 5PM shooting lines. If CUBS try to register for any other line times they will be moved to a line time of our choosing. ALL CUBS will shoot at 8AM on SUNDAY.
Once the early registration period is complete on October 15, registration is open to everyone on that same first-come, first-served basis - first click gets the pick.

Things are filling up quickly. Right now, the 2PM line on Saturday is full - - pending Mark catching up to make sure we don't run into an oversold situation.
Seems that a few folks that weren't eligible for EARLY registration did so anyways, and threw a fly in the ointment.
Remember...if you did NOT shoot in the 2012 event and you try to register, you might get an invoice...but you WILL not be in the tournament...Your invoice will "kick out" and you'll get a refund. You will have to re-register from scratch on October 16. There are NOT any "wait lists" or holding of any line times for anyone. First click = gets the pick.
The 2PM line is almost full up already, but it usually fills first.
11AM line has only 21 slots left open.
Still plenty of slots for 8AM and 5PM.
Remember...if you didn't shoot in 2012 or meet the criteria for "early registration", then PLEASE don't try to register before Oct. 16, OK? It really messes things up and is time consuming to make calls/e-mails, cancel invoices, make refunds, and then also having to go in and "readjust" the inventory of line times. This also increases chances of errors, too.
The Saturday 2:00PM Shooting line is FULL.
The Saturday 8:00AM line has plenty of openings
The Saturday 11:AM Shooting line has only 10 openings.
The Saturday 5:00PM Shooting line also has many slots open.
Remember, CUBS can only register for the 8AM and the 5PM line on SATURDAY. So far, only 3 cubs have registered; all on the 8AM line.
Mark Cooper will post and updated List of Registrants on the Presleys Outdoors Web-site sometime within the next few days.
If you participated in the 2012 event, it behooves you to register EARLY, since on October 16 registration opens to everyone.
The Saturday 8:00 AM line has numerous slots still open.
The Saturday 11:00AM line has only 4 slots remaining open.
The Saturday 5:00PM line time has 30 slots remaining open.
REMEMBER: Registration opens for Everyone at 12:01AM on October 16. There are no wait lists and we do not allow reserving or holding line times for anyone.
In addition, PLEASE - - if you already have a line time, keep what you have. We do not want to get into "musical line times" and have people shifting around just for the sake of it. Trying to bounce around creates havoc for the chairperson and can lead to serious errors and the person wanting the change is likely to lose out all together. This creates a huge amount of extra work with shuffling not only the database but also the scorecards, sign in sheets and all sorts of havoc.
Remember, the 360 Target assignment is subject to change as more people register and we start moving things so that people that always shoot together aren't right next to each other at the Midwest Open.
Registration OPEN TO ALL...at Midnight CST October 15
October 15, 4:30PM.
You shooters that shot the 2012 event are running out of time to get pre-registered! As of midnight tonite, CST, registration becomes open to Everyone on the standard first-come = first served and "first click gets the pick" basis. Last year's shooters lose priority at midnight tonite, October 15.
We had some that weren't eligible try to register on October 14 and some that tried to register early on October 15 and during the day today. Those invoices were cancelled and the registrants advised that they had to re-register when OPEN registration starts. This is no different than it has been in the past 6 years...Those that shot the event get first dibs from October 1 THROUGH October 15.
Invoices will be treated in time stamp order. There are no wait lists and we do not hold line times for anyone on a "pay later" basis.
We are still getting some registrants that either select and pay for a division without selecting a line time; or they select a line time, but no shooting division? Neither of those get you properly registered for the event. The instructions are clear: you must select (and pay for) BOTH the Line time AND the shooting division/style.
We anticipate that the remaining open slots will fill rapidly, so procrastinators beware...put it off too long and you may not get the line time you want(ed) OR you could be having to watch for an opening and "first click to get the pick."
Thanks for everyone's patience and continued interest in the tournament!
The 2013 Presleys Midwest Open is SOLD OUT already.
All line times are full to capacity.
However, remember that there are always cancellations. The Midwest Open does NOT have any waiting lists, and will not "hold" a line time for anyone.
In addition, we must make everyone aware that "musical Line times" are not acceptable. If you have a line time, DO NOT TRY TO GET IT CHANGED, let someone else that doesn't have a line time get into the tournament. Changing line times on a whim creates all sorts of headaches and hassles and you could also lose out all together in the transition.
Openings could show up on the Presleys web-site at any time, and the same rules apply as always: "First-come, first served", and "first to click gets the pick."
Keep checking the web-site for openings. Mark Cooper will be posting an updated List of Registrants within the next few days. There is still a lot of catching up to do after the Fast & Furious & short (not our fault) Open registration period.
Thanks to everyone that continues to support this event, and to those that have supported it in the past. It would be so nice to be able to accommodate everyone that wants to shoot, but our capacity is 208 and we cannot "create space" where there isn't any.
We do NOT have any waiting lists or priority lists, or holding of line times. We also aren't going to move people around from line time to line time on a whim. If you are in the tournament, please stay on the line time you have gotten. Allow someone else to get into the event!.
Please keep checking the Presleys Outdoors web-site because openings could happen at any time and they'll be under the LINE TIMES selection under Registration.
As always, "First to click will get the pick."
Thanks everyone for the great return rate (just over 75%), and also for the "newcomers" that so quickly took the remaining slots that were available! Again, keep an eye on the web-site for openings.
