Bowtech has the Binary Cam licensed from Darton, they pay them a fee to use it. This is also why HCA has had serious issues with their dual-cam bows. Its why Elite didn't get sued for their use of the Binary cam last year (Bowtech can't sue to enforce a patent they don't own) and its why HCA has been served with papers this year again in reference to their cam system again.

I guess I'm confused about this. Why would Bowtech be waiting for their patent for the Binary Cam if they were riding off of Darton's Cam System? And yes I do believe in the Easter bunny,( my kids make me)

Bowtech has the patent licensed through Darton. They cannot get a patent for their binary cam as one already exists
