Hey Guys (& girls?)

Hey Guys (& girls?) Just ran into this forum while searching other stuff. Anyway, I got into archery when I was 21. Went to a few 3D shoots, won 1st place at one

. Started hunting, but the guys I went with were distracted or something. Didn't get much hunting done. Anyway, I haven't shot for 4 years and I really want to start shooting again. So, anyone in North Northern CA? I shoot an Alpine hyperlite (this is what was bought for me). I am so excited to shoot again, but don't know anyone around here. Any tips for a semi-newbie? I will definately ask ?'s as I familiarized myself with all this again. Are there any other girls around here?

Sure we can help ya.....well do our best to try anyways...... Lots and lots of good peeps here. Here are a few pointers just to help keep ya safe while your here, Do not bash mathews or bowtec bows....... few pissy wissy people on here about ther equipment...

2nd, dont ever bash a guy with a pink bow... thats just not nice...

and dont ever ever use a ratchet strap as a bow press, no matter what you read on here!!! And also this is a great place!!! Hope you enjoy!!!

to ya from the Southland. Some of these nuts I sometime do not claim but I am about as crazy as they so we fit toghther pretty good. Just jump right on in and enjoy our wacky sense of humor. I have bout fell out the chair on occasions laughing at some of the fun we poke at each other. you had better keep an eye on that fella? with the cherry bow(some think it is pink).

So much for fun! its blank bailing time for you buddy!

Go stand about 5 yards from the bail without a target and get used to not punching the release. Without a target you won't be able to have a good point of reference (and don't make one!) the whole purpose of the exercise is to get used to shooting comfortably again and getting used to your release!

to the site, you should have no problem enjoying yourself here and learning some thing along the way also. Just watch out for the guy with the pink bow and the guy that wants to be just like the pink bow guy, now I am starting to wonder if he is a guy

?). You will have no problem figuring out the two after a couple of days here, if it takes that long. Just remember to enjoy yourself here and do not hesitate to jump right on in, we all have something to contribute to this site, I think
