Greencastle Event
Can anybody tell me where I can get information on this event. I am trying to get a group together and they are full of questions and I am short on answers. I need directions coming through Breezewood. Shooting hours, events, distances I can expect to shoot, amenities? I know that it is 100 different targets over 2-days, scored or unscored, and any number of targets can be shot. That is about it. Thanks.

A bunch of us are planning on going down as well but we have about the exact same questions you do and the R100.org website is useless

I have one other for sure. The wives are going to the Outlets in Hagerstown. I replied to the thread that you guys have going on the other forum. When I posted on this forum Barbara Rinehart replied to my question. Which one of you guys is responsible for the 3-D Shoots banner to fly? We all need to know where to meet. I want to see the Masters conquer this thing.

Make sure your vendors stock extra arrows... you may as well cut a dozen up for me now cause I'm sure I'll need em
I'm from NE Pa (about 40 mins north of the Lehigh Valley)
We have a bunch of sites booked at a nearby camp ground but we aren't staying right at the shoot... Bowman needed to have access to showers

Yea it is primitive camping, we do have a water spicket there but it is shared by all campers. We will have a concession stand open with some of the best food you can eat, that will be open during the day. As far as having somebody selling archery stuff, no we wont. If I remeber correctly we are not allowed per Rhinehart inc. unless they see some profit from it.
Thanks,
Jason

Ok what I can tell you. This is our 4th year hosting the R100! Our terrain varies, we have some courses that are flat and some that have mild hills on them. I am expecting around 300-400 shooters hopfully more than that! We have tons of space so we can space everyone out pretty evenly. Most of our terrain is woods, but we do have a small field and a rifle range that you will shoot through and can get pretty toasty. When you are done shooting and very hot our property borders a very nice creek so if you are like me, I will be floating on my back afterwards We have a big air conditioned clubhouse also if you are a city slicker and dont like creeks Our club definatly will not disappoint you! ( I should be a salesman with a speech like that)

We have fun with some of our shots but I think you will find 99% of this shoot will be R&R. We kind of cater to the kids and really push youth to get involved and no better way than to set a good fun shoot for them to walk around and shoot all the different animals and enjoy themselves.
