R-100 in Greencastle PA (aka the Dredly100)
So this shoot is pretty quickly approaching and I'm sure stuff will start filling up soon. Do we want to start making our plans and laying out everything?
I know so far we have a couple guys that are planning on going but not sure who all is looking to go and where everyone is planning to stay / camp.

I think this is the closest camp ground:
Longview Camp Ground
570 Robinson Rd.
Mercersburg, Pa. 17236
Phone (717) 328-3593 Miles from club 11.9
Water hook up yes
Electrical hook up yes
Dump station yes
Rest rooms yes
Shower facilities yes
I don't know how expensive it is but I think it would work out well if we could just grab 2 or 3 sites right beside each other. and all us losers that will be sleeping in tents can just crash there?

Fellars I have secured us a couple of sites for tha shoot at tha Longview Campground.
If more decide to go let us know and I will call and get more site(s).
These are together. others can be but i will need to notify tha Camp.
2 tents can be put at one site and you will have water and electric for $24 per site per day. Sharing this by the cost should be really affordable .
I wil be gettin there on tha 20th thursday evening. Pull out on monday.

See and you said you couldn't come up with a reason why you love her... that may be the best reason ever!
I love my wife because she gets hammered off a glass of wine or 2 beers... Talk about a cheap date

Anyone thought of how we're going to connect up ?
We have a large format printer but it only prints on paper, not vinyl. I could make a sign and send it to Smokes since it sounds like he'll be the first one there but if the weather is bad it would fall apart pretty quickly.

Does anyone or everyone have a CELL PHONE????
I think even Smokes probably has a cell phone.....
Sometime in July, before the shoot we can PM each other our numbers....kinda fixes all the issues.....

Yeah that makes a lot of sense.
I'm not a big cell phone user so it's not on the front of my mind.

whats a cell phone?
In all honesty I wouldn't count on coverage being very good in that area. I can confirm that T-Mobile has no coverage in that area.
Not sure about the others.

What's everyone's arrival/departure plans ?
I was going to show up on Friday at some reasonable time in the early afternoon and then leave early Monday morning. Of course that may change depending on my employment status. Doing independent contracting can be unpredictable, so I may show up a day earlier and stay a day longer if I'm not working at the time. That's another reason I'm driving, it gives me schedule flexibility.

Thats pretty much what I'm planning as well. I'd like to get there early afternoon so I have plenty of time to get setup during the day

I'm probably going to work a half day on Thursday and drive part of the way and stay in a hotel or camp so I'm not wiped out Friday night. Sounds like there is going to be some fun whipped up and I don't want to miss that.
Is anyone bringing canopies or tarps in case the weather is crappy ?
I'm thinking what we need to do is put together a list of stuff and 'socialize' it around to everyone to get an idea of what people are bringing. Maybe we should initiate a yahoo mail group with our email addresses or something like that. You know, make sure the bases are covered but not bring too much stuff like 12 grills between us or anything like that.
Anyone have any ideas ? Exchange email addresses via PM-ing or set up a Yahoo mail group ?

Im off friday & monday!
Planning on me & kbo jr. Comming up friday get there around noon.
We probably just need a name of who the campsights are checked out under so the office can get us to the spot!
Good suggestions about grills & stuff.
Need to have a game plan.
We camp alot so we bring everything!
I just hope its not 100 degrees in mid-july like it is down here,if it rains & its that hot it would be nice!
