Maybe tomorrow!
Since I'm home, I'll shoot tomorrow, snowed a bit today so outside is a bit chilly. I'm not expecting much in the way of a score.

I love my XT even more when I fix a technique or form issue. I was trying to blame it all on the bow, but...ok, fine, it's me with the problems

More Pics? maybe later.
Yesterday while I was shooting, I found something that I think is one of my biggest issues. I don't know how I thought this up or even if it will make sense, but my anchor I think was floating cuz I wasn't snugging the string up to my cheek enough. When I pressed my release and string into my cheek more, I got more accurate. I have always rested it on my cheek, but never reallysnugged it into my cheek. So, does this make any sense to you guys?

I feel that using the tip of your nose as an anchor is the most reliable. Though lots use kisser and cheeks to anchor. Further testing I found that i'm more consistant !! My opinion too!!

I agree, I use my nose, but the difference is placing the string on the side or center/front of your nose, I think I am still figuring it out.

I dont have a nose, so I guess I have never had the oportunity to try to anchor that way. So anyway the way I do it is to put the kisser in the corner of my mouth, and I know it is in the exact same place every time. And well thats the purpose of the kisser button anyway. Consistancy, you have to know that where ever you place that kisser, you have to know it is touching the same place on your face every single time you shoot or it will do you no good. You know that the corner of your mouth is always going to be in the same place it isnt ever going to move.. but if you are placing the kisser on your cheek or your nose are you sure that it is ALWAYs touching the exact same spot? Anyway just something to think about. I hope this helps

Hey all,
Sorry but I finally just got my scores in and I think i am gonna disappear for a few days so ya may not see me around. As I have disappeared for a couple days already. Its a long story and i dont want to depress y'all but I lost my mom two days after Thanksgiving and the holidays are a bad time for me without mom around and it just so happens that aside from XMAS Easter was her favorite. So, you all will see by my scores I am just not right and I need to just veg for a bit.
Happy Easter to you all I wanted at least to stop by and give an explanation to y'all. Hey smokes.. do a favor for a southern brotha.. say a few extra for me okay.. and any of you all that take to bended knee say a few for ole Byte over here coz, cuz aint doin so hot.

Hey cuz I will keep you in my prayers and hope you can find comfort. We have a loving God when we are sad He is sad. Here are a couple of verses that I hope will help.
John 14:16,18 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
And Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea,I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Take care my friend

Byte you know your Mom wouldn't want you all mopeing around so think of all the good times you had together and put a smile on your face deary. Your Mom would be smiling on you if you put a smile on your face and be happy for the times you had together.
You will be better in time....
