Default arrows splitting

I am shooting CX200 arrows. ever time I hit a nock it will split the shaft some. I think you can get a metal collar called the "bulldog collar" what I would like to know has any one used these and do they work good. have also thought about going to pin nocks. would like any info on these also. thanks

I use Easton Fatboys for target and 3D and they have a 'Super Uni Bushing', which acts in a similar fashion to the CX nock collars to protect the back end of the arrow. Yes, they do work.

Thumbs up

I had the same problem with the cx 200 and I have read several places online that people have had that problem mine split between the nock and the fletching. I switched to maximas and got the collars have not had any problems with them. I even put a collar on cx200 that had about 1/8 inch split and shot it several times and it did not split any more.
